# Cybersecurity Learnings & Musings

A learning journey into the deep dark *(and light)* cybersecurity realm.

Areas of interest: OSINT, threat intel, threat hunting, forensics

Keen to learn areas: coding, malware analysis, RE

Learnings:

1. Multiple online (free) resources - CyberStart, CMD+CTRL, TryHackMe, Cybrary, Udemy
2. CTFs - Have joined many CTFs but only just decided to start documenting and doing writeups. Been in a couple of Netwars, TISC 2021 (see writeup), Hack-a-Sat
3. Conferences & Talks - SANS Summit/Forum/Tech talks, Wireshark Fest, Recorded Future Predict 21, Cyber Crime Con and many others
4. Podcasts - Recorded Future, The Hacker News, SANS Internet Storm Center, Breadcrumbs
5. Discord channels - In too many channels to count, but a noteable few are SANS Offensive Operations, SANS Cyber Defense/OSINT, Digital Forensics, Project Owl: The OSINT Community
