Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to join the threat management team in the Cyber Defence Group.

As a Senior Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst, you will play an important role in providing early warning to protect the public healthcare sector from all cyber threats. Your primary responsibility will be to proactively monitor cyber threats, assess their potential impact, and generate intelligence products to meet the needs of stakeholders across the sector.

Role And Responsibilities

  • Perform information gathering by working with various cyber threat intelligence sources and conducting open source research, on cyber threats to IT systems as well as biomedical equipment.

  • Fuse and sense-make the collected information to generate insights and assessments.

  • Produce threat intelligence products for various stakeholders ranging from senior management to security teams.

  • Prepare risk assessments on new threats and vulnerabilities.

  • Conduct in-depth intrusion analysis of cyber threats to provide technical intelligence to support incident responders.

  • Research advanced threat actors' TTPs and capabilities to provide adversarial intelligence to support threat hunters.

Requirements

  • In-depth understanding of networking, threats/vulnerabilities/risks, security controls, and analytical frameworks.

  • 2 Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with strong analytical and investigative skills.

  • Good collaborative and communication skills.

  • Diploma/degree in cybersecurity or a related field.

  • Relevant experience, certifications, or demonstrable skillsets in one or more of the following areas would be advantageous:

  • Cyber threat intelligence

  • Intrusion detection

  • Penetration testing

  • Data analytics

  • Participation in CTF competitions or bug bounty programmes.
