In the position of Threat Pursuit Analyst, the candidate will analyze Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) and closed-source databases to identify POIs (persons of interest) who pose financial or physical risk to the business. The candidate must also be able to define collections plans and identify information that can be used proactively to find and assess potential threats to the business.

- Own protective intelligence monitoring of POIs via hunting and analysis activities

- Maintain and tune sources of data within a Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP)

- Further develop current sources and tools; identify new resources as necessary

- Provide timely reports to facilitate situational awareness and enable swift cyber response

- Develop and maintain use cases for intelligence monitoring

- Identify and report on POIs to organizational leaders

The candidate must have expert skills in the protective intelligence space, including data analysis and reporting. The candidate must also have the ability to communicate well, contribute to cross-functional and individual contributor teams, participate in response and defensive actions over a variety of security disciplines, and disseminate technical information as appropriate in support of TikTok’s critical business, go to market, and operational infrastructure needs.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in information security, privacy, risk, compliance, project management, law enforcement, intelligence, cybersecurity or relevant discipline from an accredited college or university or measurable knowledge / experience from proven industry, military, defense, or government operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

- 4+ years of experience working with and analyzing data sources and developing intelligence reports

- Experience working with strategic, tactical, technical, and operational threat intelligence

- Experience developing and executing work processes in a fast-paced technical environment

- Ability to prioritize risks to the business in real-time

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) along with teamwork collaboration per global and multi-functional teams and intelligence source groups

- Experience creating and disseminating reports to multi-level audiences in a technical environment

- Expert knowledge of cyber intelligence data sources and platforms

- Demonstrates excellent time management, prioritization, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

- Highly motivated to contribute and grow within a complex area of emerging importance in an enterprise environment
